Tonight, we are releasing the new MaxPreps Team Wall which will replace your team's home page on MaxPreps.com.
Traditionally, MaxPreps focused on recording game results. Stats were "our thing" and still are. Yet, to serve coaches better, we need to do more. We need to help coaches more easily communicate to their teams and communities.
We are transforming the way MaxPreps communicates so we can help to save you time and improve your effectiveness. The new MaxPreps Team Wall is designed to help you communicate to your team and community more effectively.
Much of the idea behind the MaxPreps Team Wall is to automatically alert MaxPreps users of new updates to your team's information. When your team has an upcoming game, we automatically place that news on the top of your MaxPreps Team Wall. Once a game is finished, we update the "Wall" again with the result. When you update your stats, or name a Player of the Week that information is automatically placed on the Wall too.
MaxPreps is now a much better place to help manage all of your team's communications all year-round! With the MaxPreps Team Wall, the newest information always appears at the top of the page which makes information posted on MaxPreps always easy to find.
You can post your practice schedule, or post meetings, and parent bulletins using the MaxPreps "calendar tool" and have confidence that the information is easy to find. You can also post, or link to school forms for players and parents to easily download. Additionally, you may link to articles from local newspapers and other websites and MaxPreps will place those links on your MaxPreps Team Wall too.
At the "next level" colleges employ Sports Information Directors or "SID"s. Because MaxPreps can be your team's complete communications hub you can think of your MaxPreps Team Wall as your team's own virtual SID.
Your team community (players, parents, fans and newspaper reporters) will appreciate the ease in which they will be able to find information too.
As a coach myself, I believe that MaxPreps provides a valuable service to coaches, players and fans. But now, with our new MaxPreps Team Wall, our strategy has changed: MaxPreps is now your year-round communications partner (whether or not you use MaxPreps to display your stats).

To get started, just post the information you want (new stats, news, practice schedules, news links, etc) in your MaxPreps Coach Admin pages and beginning tomorrow, you’ll see your information right on your Team Wall.
