After losing to South Newton the last time they met, Attica decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Red Ramblers blew past the Rebels 21-6 on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Jayce Larson, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Inman, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Attica always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .744. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Newton only posted an OBP of .462.

Attica now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for South Newton, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Attica will host Faith Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Newton, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against North White at 4:30 p.m. The contest will give the Rebels their first taste of in-conference action this season.
