Tahlia Smith posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
