After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Underwood, Interstate 35 was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-7 win over the Clarke Indians. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Roadrunners considering their six-point performance the game before.

Interstate 35's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Clarke, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Interstate 35 and Clarke will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Roadrunners will challenge rival Pleasantville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Clarke is set to face off against their familiar foe Grand View Christian on Friday.
