Cooter was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight  loss. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Pemiscot Bulldogs. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 Cooter took South Pemiscot into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 22-25, 24-26,  15-11.
 Olivia Richardson paced Cooter's offense, picking up ten kills. Richardson got some help from  Jozi Johnson and her 11 assists.  Payton Forsythe controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
Cooter's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for South Pemiscot,  with the  win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cooter will square off against Hayti at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for South Pemiscot, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Risco at 5:30  p.m.  on  the 20th.
