Softball Recap: Pioneer Beats Whitney for Their Fourth Straight Win

While Pioneer's win against Whitney wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Pioneer's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Whitney, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Pioneer will face off against Artesia at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Pioneers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Whitney, they will take on Glenn at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
