Sherrard won against Farmington last Thursday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Rockridge Rockets. Sherrard saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Woodward, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Carter Brown also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Sherrard's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Rockridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
