The Delsea Crusaders will head out on the road to  challenge  the Mainland Regional Mustangs  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Delsea hasn't scored more than 13 points for three games straight, a trend the  team is eager to reverse.
On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Delsea beat Williamstown 13-7.
 Milo Gebhard and  Adrien Sheppard were among the main playmakers for Delsea as the former rushed for 76 yards and one  TD and the latter rushed for 67 yards and one  touchdown.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Delsea was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 203  rushing yards. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they've run for more than 200 yards.
 Delsea's defense stepped up as well, laying out  Tyson Forman four times.  Jayden Reyes was especially locked on to Williamstown's QB and sacked him twice.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 54  points the game before, Mainland Regional was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Friday. They were beaten by Winslow Township 41-6. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  27-6.
 Mainland Regional's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Delsea,  the  win also got them back to even at 4-4.
 Delsea couldn't quite get it done against Mainland Regional when the teams last played  back in October of 2024 as they fell  21-14. Can the Crusaders avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
