The Emmett Huskies waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 40-35 W over Caldwell. That's another feather in the cap for Emmett, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Emmett to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natalie Goslin, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Goslin has scored at least a third of Emmett's points. Erin Hadley was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Emmett's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-9. As for Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Emmett will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Kelly at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Kelly presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Emmett in Idaho (Bishop Kelly is ranked 31st, while Emmett is ranked 85th). As for Caldwell, they will be playing at home against Skyview at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Skyview is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
