Linganore had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They skirted past the Tuscarora Titans 49-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Linganore's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Hodgson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. Hodgson has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times he's played. Brandon Donaldson was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 14 points and three steals.

Linganore smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Linganore is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Tuscarora, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linganore will face off against Governor Thomas Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Linganore is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8 points per game this season. As for Tuscarora, they will take on North Hagerstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
