Fishers (Ind.) had a comfortable lead entering the fourth quarter, but used 14 fourth quarter points to seal the 41-17 victory over
Brownsburg (Ind.).
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Connor Christiansen to
Brad Freeh in the first quarter, the Tigers were up 19-18 at the half.
Fishers expanded its lead to eight points entering the fourth quarter. FHS scored once in the quarter on a
Maurice Campbell touchdown run.
The Tigers came in allowing an average of 22.0 points per game this season. Fishers held firm on the defensive front, and kept the Bulldogs well above the 8.5 points it had been averaging per game.
Brownsburg (3-6) will play a playoff game against Pike next week, while Fishers (8-1) will take on Noblesville also in a playoff game.
