Cheney won the last time they faced Kingman and things went their way on Monday too. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 16-5 victory. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Kaden Ludwig was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Josh Burdick was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Cheney always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Cheney pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Kingman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season.
