Deaken Dobbins put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Monday. He wasn't messing around, pitching three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with two or fewer walks.

Even though Dobbins couldn't lead Purcell over Cache, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Dobbins' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Dragons' four-game streak of wins at home.
