Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Rolling Meadows beat Vernon Hills 27-21 on Saturday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Rolling Meadows has scored all year.
Hersey has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Rolling Meadows, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-6.
