Zoe Young put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nyri Allen, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Wade Hampton's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7. As for Laurens, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
