Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lutheran South Academy). They really took it to the Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart Chargers for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-33 victory. The Pioneers pushed the score to 47-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chargers had little chance of recovering from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lutheran South Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sam Averyt, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Annaliese De La Pena, who posted 16 points.

Lutheran South Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.

Lutheran South Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, their record now sits at 1-7.
