Stanley-Boyd was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cadott apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Cadott was led to victory by Emma Kowalczyk and Taylor Hager. Kowalczyk scored 13 points along with four steals, while Hager scored 13 points along with seven assists and six steals. Hager is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Kennedy Nerdrum was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Stanley-Boyd's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Cadott, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stanley-Boyd will take on Thorp at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Thorp has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19. As for Cadott, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome McDonell Central at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th. One thing working in McDonell Central's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 15 contests.
