Winnacunnet is 9-1 against Spaulding since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Winnacunnet Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spaulding Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Hampshire (Winnacunnet is ranked 42nd, while Spaulding is ranked 27th).
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Winnacunnet, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 21-6 loss to Timberlane. Winnacunnet has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Spaulding had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past Nashua South 41-14 at home. The result was nothing new for Spaulding, who have now won four contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Winnacunnet's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Spaulding, their victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 4-4.
Winnacunnet won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, slipping by Spaulding 14-13. Does Winnacunnet have another victory up their sleeve, or will Spaulding turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
