Perhaps the best among them was Zara Leilani Stewart, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. That was a full 50% of First Baptist Academy's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Stewart, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Canterbury's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Casey O'connell, who scored 14 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Ellie Miller, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
First Baptist Academy now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Canterbury, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.
