After each having a week off, the Oak Ridge Pioneers and the Windermere Wolverines will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Oak Ridge beat University 27-21. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Antonio Fields
| 09/26/25 @ University | 112.9 |
| 09/19/25 @ Colonial | 100.2 |
| 09/12/25 @ Lake Buena Vista | 98.1 |
| 09/05/25 @ Liberty | 87.7 |
| 08/29/25 vs Innovation | 28.7 |
Oak Ridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Antonio Fields out in front who threw for 192 yards and a pair of TDs on only 17 passes. The dominant performance also gave Fields a new career-high in passer rating (112.9). Oak Ridge's leading receiver Da'ron Newton Caster was Fields' top target yet again, picking up 90 receiving yards and one score.
Oak Ridge didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited University to a completion percentage of just 33.3%. The Pioneers weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 58.8%.
Oak Ridge's defense also made the game a nightmare for the opposing QB, racking up nine sacks. Lazard Gabriel led the group effort, picking up three of those sacks all by himself. He is becoming a predictor of Oak Ridge's success: when he posts at least one sack the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Meanwhile, Windermere got themselves on the board against Lake Buena Vista last Friday, but Lake Buena Vista never followed suit. They blew past the Vipers, posting a 36-0 win. Fans of the Wolverines have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Oak Ridge better keep an eye on Jaylen Davis. He was instrumental in Windermere's win, rushing for 64 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries, while also picking up 61 receiving yards and two TDs.
The victory got Oak Ridge back to even at 3-3. As for Windermere, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
Oak Ridge took a serious blow against Windermere when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 52-6. Thankfully for the Pioneers, Jack Reilly (who threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
