They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 16-15 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stonewall Jackson Generals. On the bright side, the 15- run effort marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring game to date.
Gracie Stillwill and Caydence Cave did some serious damage despite the final result: Stillwill scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Cave went 1-for-5 with four RBI and two runs. Stillwill also put up a hit, which was her first of the season. Emilee Hassett was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-5.
