Shalyn Bell was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of North Stanly's points. Giavonna Dunlap was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
North Stanly's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Southwestern Randolph, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
North Stanly won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against South Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on November 29th. As for Southwestern Randolph, they will be playing at home against Asheboro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Asheboro is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
