Yuma's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tempe Buffaloes 70-39. The Criminals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  matches by 23  points or more this season.
  Nick Amador continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  going 10-for-17  on his way to 24  points along with eight  assists and four  steals. That's the most points  he has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of  Andy Mosqueda, who  dropped  a double-double with 13  points and 11  boards.
 Tempe's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Deryke Tucker, who  dropped  a double-double with 17 points and 12  rebounds. Tucker continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Josiah Criss, who  earned six  points in addition to six  assists and four  steals.
Yuma is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 68.8 points over those games. As for Tempe, they dropped their record down to 10-15 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Yuma wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  an  86-27  win against Coronado on the 7th. As for Tempe, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  68-35  victory against Desert Sunrise on the 6th.
