Softball Recap: Merrill Has No Trouble Against Breckenridge

Merrill was forced to take a big defeat against they on Monday, they got the better of them on Monday. They blew past the Breckenridge Huskies 21-9. Considering the Vandals have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Merrill now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Breckenridge, their loss dropped their record down to 14-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Merrill will face off against Chippewa Hills at 4:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Breckenridge, they will venture away from home to take on Montabella at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
