It was a good run, but the Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Munford by a score of 70-68. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Munford got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Murray Norman out in front who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Bell, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds.
Raleigh-Egypt's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7. As for Munford, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Raleigh-Egypt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Munford also has no future games currently scheduled.
