The Aquinas Falcons had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.6 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They blew past Big Bear, posting a 47-12 win at home. The result was nothing new for Aquinas, who have now won five contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Aquinas got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Malachi Jones out in front who threw for 217 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Jusyis Solis, who gained 143 total yards and three touchdowns.
Aquinas' win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.5 points per game. As for Big Bear, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Big Bear also has no future games currently scheduled.
