Knippa is 2-8 against Leakey since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Knippa Crushers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Leakey Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Knippa is out to stop a 14-game streak of losses at home.
Knippa suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Nueces Canyon 57-26. Knippa has not had much luck with Nueces Canyon recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Meanwhile, Leakey ended up a good deal behind Nueces Canyon on Friday and lost 42-27.
Knippa's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Leakey, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
Knippa was taken down by Leakey 58-21 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Knippa was down 34-6.
