The Eagles' pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 13 hits and three walks, both of which led the league. Broomfield has given up a mere 95 hits on the year, while striking out 209 opposing hitters.

Brandon Bailey led Broomfield to a win on May 18, as he notched nine strikeouts to beat Longmont, 17-7. Over his seven innings pitched he allowed zero runs on two hits.
