After failing to score in their last  contest, Laney made sure to put some  goals up on the board against Topsail  on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp  4-1 win. Laney might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three  goals or more this season.
They hit Topsail with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Henry Tidey,  Ben Bastable,  Grady Luckadoo,  and  Bishop Babcock-Giles.
Laney pushed their record up to 16-3-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 11  goals over those three  matchups. As for Topsail, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-3 record  this season.
