Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harvest Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaden Meeker, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The contest was Meeker's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of JJ Gonnam, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Westminster Christian's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Harvest Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.
Westminster Christian will head out on the road to face off against Elmwood Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Elmwood Park is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Harvest Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Chicago at 9:00 a.m. on December 27th.
