It was a good run, but the Lake Marion Gators unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against Oceanside Collegiate Academy, falling 91-32. Lake Marion was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-14.
Despite the loss, Lake Marion still got an impressive performance from Patrick Guest, who scored 11 points.
Lake Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with that win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
Lake Marion will take on First Baptist School at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Academic Magnet at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
