Spring is a perfect 10-0 against Eisenhower since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Spring has three straight wins, Eisenhower has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Spring's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Benjamin Davis 16-0.
Brylynn Rickert was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had over her last 13 games. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Spring got a massive performance out of Maleah Grounds, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs. Grounds is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Xaida Bettis, who went 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Spring was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Eisenhower couldn't beat Cypress Springs on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Eagles lost 13-6 to the Panthers.
Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Spring, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-9.
Everything went Spring's way against Eisenhower in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Spring made off with a 23-2 win. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
