The Harpeth Indians lost against the White House Blue Devils two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Harpeth's2023 ended with a 71-52 loss against White House. While losing is never fun, Harpeth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 328th, while White House is ranked 144th).
White House got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Worrell out in front who scored 21 points along with three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Worrell has scored at least 25% of White House's points. Another player making a difference was Louis Taylor, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Harpeth has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for White House, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.
Harpeth will head out on the road to face off against Nashville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. White House won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pickett County at 2:30 p.m. on December 29th.
