The Buchholz Bobcats will face off against the Eastside Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Buchholz will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Buchholz will bounce into Monday's match after beating Santa Fe, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bobcats came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 21-25, 25-23.

Izzy Carter and Julia Almond were among the main playmakers for Buchholz as the former had 21 digs and two aces and the latter had 23 assists and 11 digs. That's the most digs Almond has posted over her last 11 contests. Lily Vaillancourt also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Buchholz was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive matchups.
Trenton came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Eastside, but Essence Davis wouldn't allow it. The Rams narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 3-2 with plenty of help from Davis, who had four digs and four aces. Almond has been hot recently, having also posted 23 or more assists the last three times she's played.
Eastside was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 15-25, 25-16, 15-13.
Eastside's win bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Buchholz, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's contest: Buchholz has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.8 aces per game. However, it's not like Eastside struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.5 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Buchholz took their win against Eastside when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
