Riverdale Academy has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Wilkinson County Christian Academy Rams at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Riverdale Academy came up short against the Rebels and fell 62-51.
Meanwhile, even though Mt. Salus Christian scored an imposing 64 points on Friday, Wilkinson County Christian Academy still came out on top. Wilkinson County Christian Academy skirted past the Eagles 66-64.
JACOB SESSIONS was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 33 points, 24 rebounds, and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was EASTON BUTEAUX, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Riverdale Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Wilkinson County Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.
Riverdale Academy strolled past the Rams in their previous meeting back in February of 2021 by a score of 63-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Riverdale Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
