They were just one part of a punishing run game: Chisholm Trail was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 297 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
Despite the defeat, Seagoville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Francis Perkins rushed for 85 yards, and also threw for 116 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chisholm Trail will face off against Mansfield Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seagoville, they will take on White at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
