On Wednesday, True North Classical Academy was able to grind out a solid  victory over Martin County, taking the game  61-52. Given True North Classical Academy's advantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 60th, while Martin County is ranked 278th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 True North Classical Academy got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jasen Lopez out in front who  scored 16 points along with eight  assists and eight  rebounds. Lopez hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was  Joseph Vazquez, who  scored 15 points along with six  rebounds.
 True North Classical Academy has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Martin County, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-12.
 True North Classical Academy will head out on the road to  challenge  Miami Christian at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Miami Christian's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  every time they've taken the court this season. As for Martin County, they will square off against Archbishop McCarthy at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Archbishop McCarthy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
