Waukee had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They managed a 67-61 win over the Northwest Wolves . That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Waukee's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waukee and Dowling Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwest, they will head out to square off against Southeast Polk at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
