Brayden Waller Turns in Season-Best Performance
Trinity Christian Academy was led to victory by Brayden Waller, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Waller rushed for 111 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 117 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. Duece Lawrence's big game helped extend Jackson Christian's winning streak to four on Friday. Lawrence did his part (and then some), rushing for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Lawrence is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Harding Academy on Friday. Lawrence rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries the last time he and the Lions duked it out back in October of 2023.
