Daphne won the last time they faced Elberta and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors.

Daphne easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15.

Ella Lomax paced Daphne's offense, picking up nine kills. Lomax got some help from Grace Thigpen and her 18 assists. Makenzie Valentine controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Daphne's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Elberta, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Daphne and Elberta will both be playing Robertsdale the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Golden Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
