It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Greene County Wildcats had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against Raymond as Greene County made off with a 28-8 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Greene County.
Coby King was his usual excellent self, rushing for 48 yards and two touchdowns.
Raymond's loss came despite strong showings from Amodra Moffett and Keveonta White. Moffett rushed for 172 yards, while White rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Greene County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Raymond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Greene County will take on Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbia has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 202 points over their last five matchups. Raymond does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
