The Clear Spring Blazers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 61-20 loss at the hands of Catoctin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Clear Spring has scored all season.
Among those leading the charge was Kylie Perhach, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Williams, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Clear Spring bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Catoctin, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Clear Spring will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middletown on January 2, 2024. Catoctin and Clarksburg will round out the year against one another at 9:00 p.m. on December 29th at. Clarksburg is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
