Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Catholic). They put the hurt on the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers with a sharp 18-3 win on Saturday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last eight times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bennett Smith looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Noah Lewis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Andrew Clapinski, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
