Prout faced Ponaganset in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Sunday. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Chieftains with a sharp 16-6 victory. Considering the Crusaders have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

Looking ahead, Prout will head out on the road to face off against Cranston West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. Ponaganset does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
