Menlo-Atherton will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: South San Francisco extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Warriors never let Balboa get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Sydney Semans, who gave up just three hits and racked up six Ks to keep Balboa off the board. Semans has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Maggie Bergesen was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Kadence Yip was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Menlo-Atherton came up short against Mills on Thursday, falling 16-1. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Menlo-Atherton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Rodgers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
South San Francisco pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Menlo-Atherton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. South San Francisco hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .375. However, it's not like Menlo-Atherton struggles in that department as they've averaged .336. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
