Pine Eagle are packing up and hiking across state lines for their matchup on Friday. They take on Cascade at 3:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Last week, Pine Eagle couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against Notus, falling 12-58.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Cascade lost to Cove, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-56.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
