There's no place like home for the Pendleton Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 65-46 win over Carolina Academy on Wednesday. With that win, Pendleton brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pendleton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kory Jones, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Garon Blalock, who scored 17 points along with 9 rebounds.
Pendleton now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Carolina Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pendleton will take on Wren at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wren's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Carolina Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Southside at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Southside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Monday.
