The Bay Area Christian Broncos had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over Logos Prep Academy. The win was just what Bay Area Christian needed coming off of a 63-23 defeat in their prior matchup.
Logos Prep Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Sedgwick, who scored 21 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Ratliff, who scored 20 points.
Bay Area Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Logos Prep Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Legacy Prep Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Logos Prep Academy will host Legacy Prep Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Bay Area Christian will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
