The Abilene Christian Panthers waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They came out on top against Southcrest Christian by a score of 68-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Abilene Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Presley out in front who scored 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Presley has scored all season. Will Camp was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds.
Abilene Christian's victory bumped their record up to 18-16. As for Southcrest Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Kingdom Prep Academy the next time they take the court. Southcrest Christian will host Kingdom Prep Academy at 7:25 a.m. on Friday, while Abilene Christian will host them on Tuesday.
