Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Tri-City Christian Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 74-58 loss to Skyline - Gila River on Thursday. Tri-City Christian Academy was down 62-42 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Tri-City Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Fulvio Dos Santos, who shot 6-for-12 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 35 points and ten rebounds, and Chris Carnes who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Gila Bend's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Tri-City Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 15-2.
Gila Bend was taken down by Tri-City Christian Academy 67-29 in their previous meeting back in February of 2022.
